I was wondering what's the most eficient build strat for WW villas?
You only want great granaries and great warehouses? or a mix of great and normal? any other extra buildings?

WW build strat?

You (of course) keep the granay + storage level 20 that is already there. Using great storage/granary leads to a more efficient build as great buildings cost thrice as much and have thrice capacity, but only take (very) roughly 40% longer to build. Then, low levels of storage give are more efficient than higher ones and the highest ones are more efficient than the middle ones. You have 16 slots in a WW village (the 4 in the center are occupied by the WW itself). Storage, granary and main building are already there (and necessary), that means you have 13 slots left. If you use the additional buildings slots from the card game (yes, they're usable) you can have up to 15. If you don't want the troops to starve you usually build one great granary (ok, many people build more, but that's a waste of time in my opinion) - and have 14 slots left for storages.
One slot is used by great storage level 20 (which is required to build other GS). By the time your first GS reached level 20 you have 400k storage and 13 slots left.
The most obvious and trivial idea would be to build two additional GS to level 20 (= 1,000,000 capacity). This costs 92:05:00.
The most efficient way is:
- Build another one to level 20
- Build one to level 10
- Build 11 to level 7
Total time: 74:53:45 (roughly 17 hours faster)If you build two great granaries (well, if you think about the most efficient way you definitely don't want to do that, so let's assume you have little gold/money and want to spend only one additional building slot instead or you want to activate a treasury in your ww - not sure if that's still possible tho) you have only 12 slots to get additional 600k capacity. The most efficient way then is:
- Build another one to level 20
- Build one to level 12
- Build 10 to level 7
Total time: 77:00:00 (roughly 15 hours faster, but 2 hours slower than using 13 slots)You might think about not building a second GS to level 20 because you have to rebuild it in case of destruction (and if you have only one to level 20 and all others let's say level 10 you have to rebuild one level 20 and one level 10 instead of 2 level 20). That's a valid though and here the data:
13 Slots: 10x level 10, 3x level 11 = 85:55:00
12 Slots: 4x level 10, 8x level 11 = 89:20:00
If two GS get fully destroyed you save 37:47:30 that way (if three get destroyed the save stays roughly equal +- 2 hours, if four or more get destroyed it decreases as they hit level 10/11 GS instead of level 7).I hope that helps - please note that I didn't add any combinations for no card game building slots, as I never calculated them.

Excellent summary!

Thanx a lot of the replay, it was a great summary as Rashidix said. I know that since the 0.70 patch is no longer posible to build treasuries un WW villages, so that a free slot for GS. Tnx again for the replay @Be2-e4
Ah, true, I missed that one. Yes, then the option for 13 slots is the best.

Are you start building WW lvls one you have all the set up right?
-
Yes. If you're the fastest builder and everyone plays perfectly it's actually irrelevant, but in most cases I think you will not be the first one to reach the early levels (5, 10, maybe even 15), because often somebody rushes them. If that happens they get the strong natar attacks and not you (in case you didn't know: if you're rank 1 ww you get significant stronger attacks then rank 2, rank 2 gets stronger ones than rank 3, etc.). So you save a little bit of deff if you start if everything is finished - without having any disadvantage.

Really nice summary, just one thing to clarify. These times are for X3 speed, so if you are playing on normal speed, just multiply it by 3 and you get the correct amount of hours
@Be2-e4 please mention it somewhere so people won't get confused
Hm, actually I used them on a normal speed server. Are you sure about the 3x? In WW villages the building times are halfed, in case of inconsistency with the ingame help.
-
@Be2-e4 hmm, those are not correct timers than. You can check the timers for normal and x3 speed here:
http://travian.kirilloid.ru/bu…&mb=20&s=1.50&n&lvls=0,19
as you can see, only for 1 GW it takes: 91:45:00 (you can select range of lvls you want to calculate and in the bottom row there will be a total result)
same numbers are in WIKI so it should be reliable:
http://wiki.kingdoms.com/tiki-index.php?page=Great+Warehouse -
Kirilloid has a bug: If "Natar village" checkbox is activated the construction times are not halfed as they should be. And the wiki shows the base construction time for normal villages (but in a ww village all buildings are constructed twice as fast). When I calculated this around half a year ago I used kirilloid's data and halfed them to match the ingame values.

#T5 1x rate server
2x GW lvl 20 = 183h 30m
1x GW lvl 10 = 12h 20m
11x GW lvl 7 = 44h 55mTotal = 240h 45m
&
3x GW lvl 20 = 275h 15m

#T5 3x rate server

@Be2-e4 Twice as fast it's only on T4 (Travian Legends). As far as I know, T5 doesn't have that WW building speed bonus. I have fully constructed 2 WWs on T5 already and I am quite sure that the last lvl (99-100) took 23:55:00 as it is mentioned in wiki and kirilloid
Hm, I always though TK has the bonus aswell. I built two WWs aswell and did all the maths for it, but I don't want to exclude that I automatically corrected a missing *2 factor without realizing or memorizing it.
Thank you for pointing that out!
But the quintessence is, thank god, untouched, all the data just have to be multiplied by factor 2.Edit: Yes, WW level 100 was 23:55:00, I can recall that because I told my fellow builders that the lvl 99 natar attack won't arrive because it's traveling 5 minutes too long.
But I can also recall that I was perfectly in time corresponding to my plan, maybe I really auto-corrected the mistake. :x

I will be creating a full WW building guide after my current server ends so stay tuned for that one
For now the advice in this tread is quite useful and informative.
