Kingdom unions: Rebalancing changes discussion

  • It is encouraging to note that a lot of Wizzball's points have been picked apart,by different players with the same aim and that was only to show flaws in the server that should have been a new and enjoyable adventure for all. To pretty much be dismissed as a very minor detail in the grand scheme of things,we players have been treated in the most disrespectful manner thinkable,and then are scolded for having the gall to voice our opinions.For the first time since playing(which goes back to the days of picking and naming your hero) I am having serious doubts about signing up for another server,and I'm sure I'm not the only one,sad end to the adventure.

  • @Wizzball. Great to hear dev's goals and the thoughts behind the mechs. Much better than just posting short points as discriptions. Changes like these are major and impact the game in so many ways that you devs perhaps don't realize players can't see. That's when this thread changed from balance to PR. Communication and sometimes detailed info about the game is essential to both avoid anger due to ignorance of the details and missed plans because players misunderstood the short patch notes.


    One piece of advice. Sort out the core bugs first then make adjustments. Not the other way around. Once again thank you for finally speaking out and meeting our pasion

    let me disagree- now we have situation that premeditated teams who cooperates with treasuries have more bonuses and they dont have no delays in their growth.
    as i wrote before now kingdoms who are not premeditated team who don''t switch treasuries have such disadvantages-

    • no free space in kingdom, many villages is forced to build out of kingdom borders.
    • robber camps don't spawn, because there now free space, so less treasuries and resource for them.

    So as I told you create good conditions for metas and miserable for rest kingdoms.


    maybe I'm just angry because I don't have such premeditated team. Some time ago there was more fun to play than now. When I start playing travian kingdoms for first time my ally get second place in the server and we wasn't premeditated team. now such task is impossible to achieve.

    I think the problem is that the current development team does not understand the mechanics of the game itself.
    Maybe they should try themselves to play a couple of times in the role of an active player.

  • The real problem is that there has never been 2 rounds with the same ruleset. Everytime i play a round of com2 and wait for a new one, around 200 days pass by and the game is totally different again. You can't perfect your strategies, since everytime i start a round the game will play out differently. Just get a damn finished product already, i want stability instead of constant rulechanges and bugs that never gets fixed.


    Fix your bugs and stop implementing new and worse versions of the game. I want kingdoms classic servers already or something. If you want to make something new, get special servers for that like the dry season one.


    Everything has been going downhill ever since the VP-stealing was implemented to "make midgame more interesting". It was way more interesting to catapult enemy treasurys so they wouldn't produce vp, instead of keep stealing small amounts with 300 fakes to even out every top-5 kingdoms VP, just to have the #1 WW win the round. Now even more people play simcity until the WWs come out and only then go for the treasures when half of the defences are stationed at them. I'm honestly considering moving back to legends, atleast there the game seems familiar and skill-based instead of this fast-settle relocate 15c crap rallypoint constantly changing clownfiesta.

  • Nono, it's like those russian games that are all infinitely in early access: You're not allowed to complain when it's not a finished product yet! Just keep the game in beta forever, perfect strategy!

    Nice rant, but I actually like the constant need to change strategy - IMO it 'sorts the men out from the boys'. But then I signed up for the dry season (and stayed), so I'm probably not typical.

  • Me too, I like the weekly changes, not like Legends that was the same for years. After 1, max 2 servers you were playing just for your friends and not for the game as it was always the same.

  • when are the WWs coming and when the kingdom unions are coming? maybe just before ww lvl 50 :( the vote should have been to end this stupid server at due date so we could all have moved on :(

    Hey there,
    the Kingdom Unions feature will be activated on the TEST world tomorrow and will also come very soon to the other game worlds. We'll announce the exact date in the upcoming days
