New Kingdom feature: how will kingdoms together?

Hi,

On the NL3 server we are wondering how the new mid-game features will work:

What are the exact requirements to have two kingdoms join together?
Does anyone here have experience with this new feature already?

Wonderfull if someone could eleborate!

Both KD older than 30 days and neighboring (both of the kings capitals must be included in the spheres that are touching)

Please note that due to some unfortunate delays the feature is not fully developed and thus not activated on any game worlds yet, but it will be with a future patch.
