Complete the story and win prizes: How did Ferdinand get his scar?

    Dear players,


    As you may remember, a few months ago we had a story featuring two kings that united, Ferdinand and Hugo.
    Ferdinand, the Teuton, got a big scar in his face. Now we're asking you to imagine how he got it. To participate, use the beginning and end of the story and write the part of the middle:


    "Once upon a time, Ferdinand and Hugo were united kings. Ferdinand is a Teuton, Hugo a Gaul. Although, they have different characters, they are getting along well, but then..."

    An internal jury will select the best 5 stories. The stories can be funny or serious, long or short, it's up to you! It will be valued positively if the story uses elements from the game (e.g. he
    encountered a clubswinger while on an adventure!) and it's necessary that the stories abide by the rules of the forum.


    The 5 winners will receive 75 Gold each for their effort. Contest will run until Monday, 23th April. The winners will be selected and prizes will be given on Tuesday, 24th April. Good luck to everyone!

    they encountered a Roman Patrol
    while they were together in the woods, hunting. At first, the Roman
    Legionnaires did not notice the ambush of the two kings, who were
    both great figthers. Ferdinand, armed with a great Club, sneaked
    behind the Legionnaires. Hugo, armed with a Bow, was hiding behind
    a tree, aiming at the Equites Imperatoris, who was leading the Roman
    patrol. When Ferdinand was close enough for an attacked, he charged
    at the Romans ferociously, screaming in an old germanic language Hugo
    could not understand. But even then, Hugo knew it was the time for attack,
    so he shot his arrow and hit the Roman Rider right into his chest, who fell
    from his horse like a bag of potatoes, whatever that is, the both kings never
    heard of it. At the same time, Ferdinand hit the last Legionnaire of the formation
    right on his head, and then the next, and the next.. It was like playing Whac-a-mole
    for him, whatever that is, the both kings never heard of it.


    The fight was won short after and the Roman patrol eliminated. Ferdinand
    and Hugo wanted to celebrate their small victory and shouted loudly, throwing
    their weapons into the air. The quick Gaul caught his bow easily, but Ferdinand,
    stupid as he was, just looked after his club but forgot to catch it again so it landed
    right on his face. Ferdinand started to scream, he got hurt by his own
    great Club. But after a while, the screaming turned into laugther!

    Then one evening in early spring as Ferdinand and his axemen having returned from successful attacks the decided to visit the brewery which had just been completed in their capital.
    They drank way too much and decided to go out for more resources, unfortunately due to their drunken state Ferdinand set out their attack and not realising he accidently attacked Hugo the preceded to fall asleep.
    When he woke in the morning he found the attack report and angry messages from Hugo.
    When he looked at the report he found to his dismay what had happened.
    His axemen and himself had hit Hugo,s capital 4k traps and and over 100k def was waiting for Ferdinand this is how Ferdinand gained his scar.

    Hugo suggested a contest to see who was the wildest between them. Naturally, Ferdinand as a Teuton was clearly the wilder one. Which is why without thinking, he pulled out his dagger and sliced it across his face, merely missing his already blinded eye that was damaged from a dare by the Roman King. Hugo stood there speechless whilst Ferdinand cheered with blood pouring from his face. "Don't worry, all wounds heal. Look, i'll blind my other eye and in a matter of weeks i'll be able to fully recover and be able to see" cheered Ferdinand. Little did he know it won't

    Moral of this story? Don't be Ferdinand kids.

    One day on there travels they ventured into a ruin of a village, ripe for conquering after so many hours of seiging. To their surprise a weak defense lurked in the crevices of the broken wall. Legionaires and Praetorians scattered the village and clustered at the centre with a pale robed senator was 10 Caesaris.


    No soldier noticed the great warrior kings as they scouted the village surrounding them. Although broad in size and protected with they're Heavy Brestplate and Heavy chainmail armor. Hugo and Ferdinand waited. They arrived before their armies and all they had to do was wait...


    Just as the Legionaires spotted the kings, the rabid roar of germanic battle crys echoed over the hill. Ferdinand raised his Morning Star and gleefully answered the call. Hugo had no idea what the king had said but he knew that bloodthirsty smile well. Raising his heavy lance he watched as the Warhorses full of Haudeans galloped over the hill. Followed by the horde of clubswingers.


    Turning to the cowering Romans, Ferdinand charged, followed swiftly by his united king. It did not matter they were ahead of the horde for they would soon be swarmed. Hugo and Ferdinand split in the skirmish, each aiming for seperate targets, yet Hugo could still hear the roar of Ferdinands call and the thunk as heads connected with his Morningstar. Hugo pushed at the Caesaris, Heavy lance raised, shouting in gallic for his men to follow him in. The Caesaris scattered, leaving there senator exposed as they were surrounded. In minutes the fight was over on both sides, and the armies were decimated. All that remained was one cowering senator.


    Ferdinand marched up, proud as a peacock strutting from his achievements, he would end this puny senator and take the throne of this village. Conquering it and adding it to his land. But the Seantor would not end without a fight, he scurried and scrabbled. Pushing Ferdinand as he played with him, prolonging the fight, until he pushed with all his might in one final attempt. Ferdinand was at a surprise and was knocked off balance. Slamming into the damaged throne, that both seemed to be fighting for, he late out a roar of rage and pain. Blood dripping face raised in anger and the senator knew no more with a final swing of a Morningstar.


    Hugo turned to Ferdinand as the Tueton heaved with rage and pain. They stared for one long minute before they both roared with laughter. A small humble senator had outwitted the great Tueton, putting up a fight most could never dream of. And in the end the Tueton king left with a wound of his own to remember.


    Slouching onto his new throne, Ferdinand turned to Hugo with a smirk.


    'Well i will never forget the scrappiness of Romans again will I Hu'
    All gaggled with laughter well into the night at King Ferdinands new battle wound as the kings celebrated there triumphs.

    "Once upon a time Ferdinand and Hugo as a united king, Ferdinand is a Teuton, Hugo in Gaul, even if they have different characters, they get along, but then ..."their friendship and loyalty was put to the test ...On their way they met a beautiful and elegant Roman princess.We had faced and won many battles but faced with so much beauty, neither of them could conquer it.To understand which of the two could make her happy and confident, they decided to conquer it with trials of courage, hoping that this would be enough.they decided to face each other on chariots or horses as gladiators did that were so loved by the Romans.So it was that exhausted by the fight Hugo throw the sword at the top and at the same time the shield towards Ferdinand that could be avoidedthe shield but not the sword that rocambolesca the face.Hugo displeased surrendered and left leaving Ferdinand wounded."...and this is why Ferdinand came home with a scar on his face."

Although, they have different characters, they are getting along well, but then one day Hugo made a bet with Ferdinand that he could never tame the mighty beasts Hugo had guarding the gardens of his city. Ferdinand boasted he goes hunting bears barehanded and so raised the bet claiming he will put his head in the mouth of a crocodile like its nothing at all. When the day to prove his words came, Hugo picked out the biggest, hungriest and wildest of the reptiles and Ferdinand went on with the act. He took few quick steps and mounted the monster, pulled its jaws apart and proceeded to fit his head in between the bladelike teeth. Everyone looked at this not believing their eyes and so Hugo ordered his men to throw a rock at the animal to make sure its not sedated and they did so. Ferdinand heard what was going on and was able to pull his trusty dagger out and jam it inside the deathtrap he had stuck his head in before it snapped completely. He then pulled out his head with one eye bleeding and claimed ten times the bet they originally made since Hugo had interfered like that. This is why Ferdinand came home with a scar on his face."

    BUT THEN HUGO FIGURED OUT FERDINAND HAD A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS WIFE,
    THEY ENDED UP DUELING ABOUT HER, FERDINAND WON.

    Hugo decided to invite Teutonic king to celebrate Samhain Eve with him and his people. Ferdinand hesitated a bit, as he did not know what to expect, but after further reconsideration he accepted Gaul's offer. Teutonic king decided to take few paladins and axemen with him, as a precaution. Celebration goes on, Gauls feasted along with Teutons. Ferdinand was impressed of how Gauls celebrate the end of harvest season and the beginning of darker half of the year. Laughter, dances, singing went on and on, but intemperance in drinking was clearly seen in between both of the kings, as they started to compete in everything they did. Not long after last song, sang by teutonic king accompanied by his men, Hugo decided to challenge Ferdinand to a "friendly" duel. Ferdinand did not hesitate at all, and accepted the challenge, he called one of his men to give him one of their axes, Hugo asked his swordsmen the same, but for a sword instead. Both kings were fierce like lions, fought like Gods from the stories of their tales. As the fight proceeded they fought more and more obstinately, it was no longer a friendly duel, even Gaul men and Teuton men who surrounded them in a circle noticed that, but neither of them dared to interfere. Both kings were exhausted, but neither of them looked like giving up... Sunrise on the horizion heralding the end of Samhain Eve came along with a blow of Hugo's sword scuffing the cheek of Teutonic king. They both stopped and looked at the rising sun, with the blood slowly soaking from Ferdinand's cheek. After brief moment of silence, they gazed each other, smiled and embraced in a bear hug. Soon after Ferdinand decided to bid them farewell and went back home with his men.
