# Exp. for your hero for different troops calculations (including animals)

• Hello dear community. As I was looking for how to efficiently get experience for my hero in the early game, appart from slaming all my troops into someones defensive lines at a huge cost, I couldn't find many calculations on the matter. So I compiled some calculations to answer what to kill with your hero (on or off your horse) at greatest efficiency per loss of health for my hero - meaning the defensive strength of my target.

Disclaimer:
I created these calculations because my hero currently has a lot of regenetative items, and I had two buckets, so I needed to get some use out of this. If your hero isn't strong enough, or you might get your hero too low/dead from attacking - don't. Use these calculations with your own mind and situation. Use at your own risk.

Explanations:
Excel to Travian forums works mostly great, but alas I couldn't get the beautiful icons to follow
ID = Infantry defense.
CD = Cavalry defense.
Experience for your hero = upkeep of units killed.
Note that these calculations are for efficiency, not net gain. It could be worth it to take a bigger loss of health to gain more experience, even though it is sub-optimal efficiency.

Oasis:

For early attacking of oases: look for boars or rats to kill with your hero on horseback. Avoid big animals (Bear or above) and snakes if you can.

Also worth noting about oases is that they are worth clearing with your hero to get the resources they produce. Each animal produces 1 resource of the oasis per hour (meaning 2/h for 25% + 25% oases). For example: if you attack an 25% clay and 25% crop oasis after 50 hours, and there are 20 rats in it during this duration, at the time of your attack there will be:

20 clay/h * 50h + 20crop/h * 50h = 1000 clay + 1000 crop in it when you strike it.

The maximum number of resources are the same for all oases, based on the number of animals in the oasis. Each animal can "hold" 50 resources, meaning 25% + 25% oases will fill up twice as fast because they produce double the amount of resources than a 25% oasis.

The maximum number of resources in an 25% clay + 25% crop oasis with 120 rats and 24 spiders is (120+24)*50 = 7200 resources max, and since it's a 25% +25% oasis, the oasis will produce (120 + 24) * (1 clay/h + 1 crop/h) = 168 resources per hour.

Enemy players:

Another way of getting experience can be to slam your lone hero into enemy forces. Scout and Simulate well before attacking, and try to avoid killing your hero or damaging him/her too much if you don't have regenerativ items.

Appart from siege weapons and scouting units, Clubswingers are, to no surprise, the best unit to kill. Both in terms of numbers but also efficiency. But also Roman cavalry units and Theatues Thunders are great for experience.

So to summarize: Stay on horseback, mostly for the extra speed but also the cavalry attack strength, and get early experience for your hero by killing rats, as they have low defensive strength and high efficiency. If you can find and catch clubswingers alone, you found gold! Once your hero have some nice attacking power from levels and items, don't be shy to hunt cavalry units. Prepare by scouting and simulate attacks well, and you can get a lot of experience for your hero while also killing expensive troops for your enemy!

I like your wording there Great work, good that your hero found those 2 buckets!

• how much exp do we get for killing enemy hero?

• Black Scorpion#EN
The amount of experience that you receive from killing any troop is related back to the amount of "upkeep" that troop takes.
For the case of the hero - I believe that it is just one. If I run into a better answer I will edit this post!

I will also keep an eye on my hero score and see what happens the next time I kill a hero!
