Questions and Answers about the domain merge

    You can merge domains and market differently all you want, but as long as the game stays the way it is, the pattern will continue as is and you'll eventually run out of domains and players to merge with. What are the plans to actually make meaningful changes that will make the game less broken or more appealling to retain players?

    Is this some [edited by Admin] joke? For what do you consider the Polish Nation? too little money you bring Polish servers ?? Have you thought about players who have played so far ?? You have it far in the [edited by Admin] because the money does not match, the more you want to remove the Polish language from the racist band use no words Get your hands on the calculators now and count how much money will fall off because in my opinion, the humiliation of the Polish nation everyone should throw this sick game Good luck !!!!

    I can understand the decision not to launch new game worlds in these regions anymore and maybe also to drop the support in these languages. But why are you removing the existing translations? Maintaining them shouldn't be much of an effort anyway, given the slow rate of updates to the interface and I'm sure the community would step in when translations are needed.

    There are around 300 polish players playing both com and PL servers. On days we've got information that polish (and several other) server will be closed. Can anyone explain why dev team kill polish community by close all servers? Is that expnsive to leave at last 1 server? And what seems to be rasist... we will be forced to move on com and You wont leave polish language? Are You joking guys?! We pay to few? We should stop buy gold on com also? I would ask WTF is going on?!

    Second issue... I won in international competitions around 300 gold coins, in polish lobby I have around 500 coins. How much I will be allowed to transfer on com? If less I think I will sue You.

    I think we should all (not only Poles but people from all deleting servers) stop play on new servers... maybe that dev team will start think about what is gone wrong with such decission. Greedness will pay double cost.

    I understand your outrage, I'd be kinda upset, if de domain gets closed, aswell. But seriosly, daring to accuse a company of racism for a financal decision is just brazen. Also, nobody will take you for serious with such "arguments", really, nobody. Think of some real arguments going for you, present them, and convince them to keep the translations or whatever you want to argue for, instead of crying and accusing blindly. Like iTob, for instance. He brings a useful argument, which I totally agree with. I really support your wish to keep at least the translations, but this way to participate in a disussion is just idk, don't find good words for it.

    Yes, we have a great Polish community as well as a great Polish community manager Flavia who is doing an awesome job. This was a very hard decision to make.


    All in all, we are also closing the Portuguese, Dutch, Hungarian and Nordic domains including Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish languages. We took a long time and considered different options. At the end, we decided to do one hard cut at once.

    Just to mention it again so that everyone is on the same page: We are not removing it from the currently running rounds, we will not add these languages in com rounds starting from 2019 onwards.


    We want to offer only game languages we are also supporting within our Help Center. With less languages within the com rounds, we will be able to improve our Customer Service in the still existing languages, for example when it comes to reported messages.

    I really think that poles, portugeese, dutch, hungarians, danish, norwegian, sweedish and finish players should stop play for a year or stop buying coins. It will be a hard argument witch dev team will have to face. Your financial argument I can understand, by no translation is low and I think dev team will have to be punished for such behavior.

    @BridgedB, please answer, what will happen with my 490 gold coins won/bought on polish server. You will transfer all of them to com on Your curency convert. I might understant coins bough in PLN but some I won in contests and it is worth same like in EURO.

    Dear Dev Team... You dont understand what will happen... without polish translation (dunno what with other deleted servers) most polish player wont play Your game on com. Many dont want to comunicate in english. They want use their own. If it is Your goal than BRAVO!

    Futhermore, there is no fun for experienced players. Sim the hammers to the WW stage because using them at treasuries is suicide and other villages are not being deffed. This game is so predictable without midgame!!!!!


    You should reward players who help each other out! Thats the only way the game is going to survive.


    Btw - to late to retain me. I salut all my travian friends. After Test and NL2 my Travian carreer is over.

    @the polish (and other affected) guys. honest question: do you guys really rather play kinda dead servers with less than 300 ppl in it than play on com worlds and speak english? Id just like to know cuz for me, part of what makes com worlds better than native ones is getting to know ppls from basicly all around the world

    also I higly doubt that this step was done due to racism. Its greed at worst, probably just the sheer fight for survival, cutting costs as good as goes. After all its not only the servers costs but also the corresponding community managers, translators for new features and whatnot


    also why dont we all agree to keep this civil? arguments delivered in a polite way reach the ears of the devs way better than the ones deleted/ignored due to included insults :)

    although this is kinda off-topic Id like to know how this rewards should look like. I mean, there kinda are rewards for it already. helping the noobs in your kingdoms influence grants you tributes, treasures and troops to work with.

    more treasures = more crop per stolen good. more tributes = stronger king/more treasuries.
    Clearing them brings a decent chunk of res once and microfarming them till deletion brings scraps. does not sound to juicy to me

    we are going to transfer the domain restricted Lobby Gold to the international Lobby Gold. We will do 3 waves, the first one shortly after PL4 and Hu1 ended, the second one after the end of PL2n and the last one after PL1 and Hu1n ended. Since these endings are no fixed dates, we don't know an exact date yet.

    Still, this is only done in English and not in all languages. Focusing on lesser languages will help us invest in improving the game in general. I personally was lucky and got into a very helping kingdom with its own mentoring program when I started playing. Thank you Marshmallowman to point out that there are some kingdoms out there already doing this. :thumbup:

    Conclusion is such that most polish players made decision to end play on kingdoms. People will build WWs on curently runing polish / com servers and after that will go away.

    As to gold coins... I've got vouchers of 25 and 50 gold coins worth x euro (got in many competitions)... used it on PL server (still worth x euro as could use it on com also). Now You want me to say You want to calculate it again and give me less gold that I've used in vouchers? Got 50 gold and now You want to give me 45,5? Took part in competitions and won 50 or 45,5 gold coins? Isnt't that a robbery?
