maybe there will only be 5 x normal servers in the future 
less servers could mean fuller servers, less options to delete and start again means players may stick around for longer

we don't have plans to stop any servers at this time, but with two other normal speed servers starting within the next month we can safely assume that another normal speed server will not be restarted soon after. We'll let you know as soon as there's new information.

Im thinking its nothing more than just Travian simply starting from scratch....so to speak.....no rime, no reason. Now that they are finished their server mergers and whatnot.....and since its the new year and alot of servers are available.....why not start from 1.

That can be true, but some clarification definitely wouldnt hurt
