Haven't played in probably 3 years, much has changed. I have some questions.

    It has been a while since I played. Back as far as the time of the Knights and NNOF clans. There were several other heavy hitters too but I can't think of them currently. I have a few questions.


    This game looks so different, would I be better off playing the Travian Legends game?

    What are the major differences between Travian Kingdoms and Legends?

    I prefer the speed servers like the old x3. Is there a Meta Clan leader/recruiter that I can speak with?

    I noticed a thread about a discord page. Can someone send me the link?

  • Legends and Kingdom play very differently, there's an upcoming x3 server starting the 13 of august, i think you can find a kingdom via the server post :)

    Will you give some examples of how different they are? I am not asking for a long response but maybe explain a few things that are different so I can figure out which one suits me?

    this is depend on you, but if you ask me, Kingdoms is better in almost everything. I like it.

    TK: travian kingdoms, VP: victory point

    Main goal in TK is get more victory points to win, building world wonder helps with boosting VP , but it isn't main goal like legends.

    There are NPC villages in TK (robber hideout, robber camp), they spawn everyday, you can kill them get treasures, you sell these treasures to your king for crop, then kings can generate VP each day with those treasures. also there are other mechanics to steal treasures and VP...

    There is no Artifact in TK.

    Oasis doesn't belong to 1, multiple players can use same oasis with some limitations

    All troops are a bit cheaper, and no need for crop to train.

    There is a new attack type: "Siege", that gives more power to attacker, but with a travel time penalty.

    In TK we can upgrade villages to Cities, that removes some limitations of village.

    Achievements, Lobby, Plus Account, Secret societies, awesome map, Natar Croppers, Menhir and many more changes.

    ...I can figure out which one suits me?

    Please, don't write that like that. :s Upgrade to a city costs a cp slot, from a pure infrastrucutral view, cities are shit (no 2nd town hall + less base production compared to 2 villages). They have some strategic advantages (200% loyalty, need 2 cp to conquer, gb + gs available, water ditch for better defense) and some advantages for less active players (needs less clicks to upgrade the fields, less to click in general).


    A few additional differences:

    - The whole kingdom sees, if and when a village inside it is attacked (now by whom though)

    - Shorter game worlds (day 111 WW spawn)

    - Gold NPC is more expensive (5 instead of 3)

    - Instant build mechanics are changed (you finish one building or one research only, costing 0 if < 5 min remaining time, 1 gold if < 2h and 2h if > 2h - untouched by server speed)

    - Some local servers have night truce (= no attacks between 0 and 8 server time can arrive or start)
