"Provoking" Robber Hideouts

  • It is my understanding that robber hideouts only attack the player after a set amount of time after their appearance on the map (when the player logs in)? It would be useful for defensive players if we could accelerate this wait time. For example: if you provoke the robber hideout by landing an attack (without clearing all robber troops), they will retaliate by initiating their attack.


    Question for discussion of this suggestion: it against the design of the robber hideout feature to use defense as a strategy for handling them? Is the feature's purpose strictly to encourage all players (including defensive accounts) to build an offensive army to handle them?

    FYI: 36 hours after spawning the first time, 72 hours after the second time. If the time passed, but player isn't online, they wait for him to login before they attack.
