Gold Transfer from Silver

So I know that you can't transfer gold from selling items you get on adventures and whatnot, but my question is let's say I bought 1000 gold on a server, and I decide to leave so I sell all the items I purchased from exchanging gold to silver etc, and change the silver back into gold. That gold will still transfer correct. I assume the limit is essentially "you can not transfer more gold than you have purchased"?
