There are browser pop ups when other players message you, I would argue village being attacked is more important so there should be browser pop ups for that too.

But how it would work when you are under off ops and or someone is spamming your whole kingdom with 40-60 attacks. There are a lot of things that need to be considered but in general, this is a cool idea.

I thought about the same but there should be an option to activate or deactivate them. Like we have for sound or animations...

How many times is that likely to happen? Anyways, during ops one is supposed to pay attention anyways, so notifs should not come as a surprise. Yes, this would be a great option in my opinion.

It is something that we feel would be very nice to have.
We have added it to a list of things we would like to implement, but we have some other issues to address first.
So there is no time line for it, it is just that I wanted you to know that we appreciate your suggestion.
