How2play with somebody from home?

  • I saw there was a thread years ago about this topic but it seems outdated.

Is there a way to go about sharing the Kingdoms experience with my partner, using same laptop but different mobile phones or can I just not play the game with her without getting banned?

  • You can play on different browsers.

For example, you play on google chrome, while your partner plays on Opera which has a built in VPN option, so it won't show you are playing from the same IP.

In case you're banned, just tell support that you and your partner are playing from the same laptop and show some evidence or something, and hope everything goes right.

Yeah I literally tried this on com2nx3 and we both got banned. I made a ticket questioning it and also the measures I should do to avoid any unnecessary confusion so we can game in peace but the ticket got removed and they didn't respond either hence I had to come to the forum for community members to help rather than the actual games support team lol..

    Oof, that sucks.

The only other thing I can think of is Thor browser, but I'm not sure how it works or if it will help. Haven't used it but heard people use it for some stuff.

  • There is no way to determine if a player is multiabusing or there is actually 2 people playing from the same PC. And with the current MA abuse situation in the game, it is much more likely that you are multiabusing.

Haha yeah if you mean tor browser I've definitely been down into that web a few times but I wouldn't consider it for Kingdoms :P

It's a shame that with the state of the game that people cannot enjoy this game as a couple in a small kingdom without being insta banned for having logged in on the same pc.. maybe not many people have partners who are avid gamers and like to do things with them but we certainly enjoy gaming and we just can't play this together.. it really sucks I've played here since I was a kid :/

  • Well you can play the same account. Set up yourself as duals and have a go.

But yeah, any multiabuser can say they are playing with their spouse, grandpa, grandma and 10 children on all different accounts. :D

  • I'm just saying it would be nice to be able to play the game together without people painting a group of people on only one spectrum it seems a bit ignorant tbh.

I suppose there isn't much mentioned about this from the team as it is a touchy subject within the game but I didn't think everyone would be so toxic about it, I suppose I have to spend 3k on a decent laptop and then we can play side by side without being banned lol..

I would suggest creating second account from different pc+internet connection adn then making your other account sitter. Ofc it would not allow to attack players, but if you or your spouse is a defender, there shouldnt be any problems. You both log in from same account, should be okay.

what if you and your partner get one PC and one laptop/tablet.

it is pretty much working out with my BF, when we play from the same household, but from different PCs basically. is there no way for you to get this option?

  • Let me first say that I am not in that side, CSR, but, just as thinking...

Another option is dualing in the same account... may be each of you can choose a different gameworld from each other and you can just dual each other, so you play 2 accounts, one each, but in different gameworlds and share with each other both accounts.

Do people actually get banned for using the same IP and PC?

Is this the year 2005? Why dont you have strict rules about same PC / IP usage. It should be possible.

    -No resource pushing either way

    -No attacking eachother

    -No supporting eachother (except ww)

-Can't be in the same kingdom if one player is King/Duke and the other governor

Pehaps people can write a ticket to the helpdesk at the start of the server explaining the situation and providing a photo of them togheter with some piece of paper with a certain phrase on it the multihunter decides.

Like a player and his 20 relatives in their favela :D

Edited once, last by Unknown: Please, refrain from allocating nationalities to conducts, it can be understood as racist and racism is not allowed in the forum. And please refrain from accusing players by nick or name of breaking the rules, there is no proof of that, there are mediums (help center) to do that and get it investigated by the CSR. ().

  • there are some limitations actually:

    - you can only send a limited amount of resources, in order for you to send more the other have to send you some resources as well.

    - you can raid each other for a maximum of 4 hours of your resources production (didn't test it)

this is what I can think of right now maybe there is more.

as for the last two it's strange you would suggest that, I hope the devs don't implement that ever.

4 hours is still a lot at the beginning.

This is only suggested, because most ingame rules have to adjusted only to prevent cheating / exploitation. Sadly it wil be hard to always be sure it's not abused, so that's why I came up with those options.

  • I think it's a good rule & needs to stay, the abuse around shared IP is a lot more game destroying than 2 players not playing the same server from the same household will ever be.

it's inconvenient for those 2 players, but as unknown suggested they can play different servers and sit each other.

if you start bringing in kingdom restrictions around shared IP's this then becomes a problem with inhouse abuse & espionage (i.e. "hang on I'll go check out my brother's chat in his kingdom") it would happen for sure
