Update to punishments for rule violations

    While im totaly in the boat for the harsher punishments for people who actual try to deceive, i also want to draw attention to the rules themself.
    Its important to uphold a certain sensivity.

    We had a case of a couple that got banned and lost its fun fot the BB only because they played two accounts on the same pc and sometimes did a sitter like switcheroo while playing, without pushing one of the accs.
    On the other hand, you very often ignore accs that exist obviously only to push a main with res.

    I dont think such a thing should be punished at all, and i would strongly request that you think about your ways of "detection" and the way you instruct your hunters to make sure you get those who earn it. Especially now with the stronger rules.

    There should be a "spouse confirmed" option.
    Both players send copies of their ID's and are marked like this in lobby. I would not want my wife to join the ranks of this game, but I can understand some do :D

    Unfortunately only one "hunter" takes care of the COM servers.

    funny thing is: I know two of them who already did so ... sending copies of their IDs ... Didn't help at all.

    There is literally only one option to prevent multis in large scenario, DONT ALLOW VPN. It might seem the player count crashes or even some great loss on profits for a while, but in the end id say it pays off when ppl realize the game is actually playable once again and starts to rejoin etc. Multis are literally HUGE problem now in bbash servers, so far reported like idk 30 accounts for multi'ing and like 3 were banned possible of 400 id say. Well what can i say, travian keeps dying and without harsh punishment and actions the game wont survive long. First step is when player count dies they will start to remove some servers and fire ppl even more from company and its pretty much downhill to the end after that. No idea who is travian games ceo, but he doesnt seem to care. Just take the profits while it lasts :D

    I don't want to spoil your idea, but you have basically no way of knowing if someone is using a VPN or not.

    The thing is, we don't really know what happened, do we?


    Only the CSR and the owner of the affected account know what happened.


    It could be that the ban is for something totally different, and in that case the CSR can apply his/her judgement regarding what course of action to take.


    Please note that I don't know anything about the case, I am not trying to justify anything, I am just thinking about possibilities here.


    We are... well... I am hopping for a huge improvement in this front with the changes that arrived, but I do understand that it may take some time.


    Adjustments will have te be made to fine tune the effectiveness of the system and to improve it.


    So far I have heard of different cases where it has worked like a charm!


    Let's give it some time and see its real effectiveness once it has been in use for a few weeks please.


    At least that is my point of view, I hope some will share it with me. :)


    PS: Please remember that we cannot speak about specific cases here in the forum.

    And still no punishment for all multiaccounts as you already got reports of several times, every every, every server, and multiaccounts you know will come as letter on the mailbox....

    I've played travian since 2006 and kingdom since it started and I NEVER and then I mean it have been in need of cheating to play the game. I think the fun part with playing game, is to do it the right old fashion way.

    I understand that the manufacturers just want to make as much money as possible on everyone idiot who golds for the lot of Euro and what so ever, every month ...


    But do you think it is right to teach children, young people and adults to break rules and laws?


    Because that's what you do, the longer you continue to ruin the games.

    And don't forget all this bots and scripts, that send 1 troop, 1 troop, 1 troop... attack/raid as fast as you settled a new village...

    Y'all need to get past it, there is this line written in the rules of this forum.....

    "Ingame bans are not to be discussed in the forum. Support is to be contacted for that. Threads which discuss such matters will be deleted."


    (My guess) It's their Company & they don't want to risk some abuser trying to sue them (after all we've all seen the extremes they go to just for a pixel medal), so I don't blame them for not having open house on it here. We (The gamers) need to get back to using the forum for fun things rather than every thread ending up like this.
