Option to remove chats by king.

Just wanted to bump this as it is a good suggestion and hope the developers will talk among themselves about this.

This does not affect game play nor interfere with players in any negative manner.

Just look at your own Discord server as an example. You have ability to remove posts or started threads in order to help

keep clutter down and important info from being missed.

This is also important ingame as anyone knows how cluttered the chat can become accidently and even intentionally.

The king/vice king should be the ones to have this option.

So please think about what rafal92 has proposed and we thank you for giving it some thought in advance.

Sounds like a good idea that would help with keeping ingame chats clean and easier to read and manage for everyone.

In-game chat is broken, they should redo the whole thing or integrate Discord into it.

Agreed, the chat balloons onthe bottom need to be able to turned off, also the popup chat on the right side needs to be banned.

Kings and Dukes or creators of SS should be able to have one special #announcement channel that is always on top and is editable by them.

The game chat has really not evolved at all since it was put into the game.

It is clonky & cumbersome and a lot of times barely working correctly.

It is still one of the few original things that still require F5 on a daily basis to make sure you are reading current information.

Many would like it removed completely and try to interface the game with Discord

Here are some items that would be great to see.

1, The kings having the ability to edit/delete posts in the kingdom/ss chat

2, The chatboxes showing up on lower left hand side. Just remove that feature altogether.

Have not seen too many people who give that any praise at all.

3, Make the chat stable so it refreshes auto like server stats

I am sure there are some more I am missing and others will chime in but if the chatbox will always stay then problem #1 needs to happen at the least.

EDIT...Further thought, The kings would need this option in kingdom chat. The creator of a secrete society(SS) would also need this option since this is different from the kingdom chat.

i think some kings can do this sometimes, because ive seen some snarky stuff removed from chat right after it happened.

i dont really know why, how, or if i should just lay off the energy drinks.

Nobody should be able to edit a message from someone else.

This will make it seem like they said something they didn't actually say.

I like the idea and will be more precise about my personal thought :

• Remove some threads would make the chat cleaner, some players open them to talk about a certain subject like market offers or so. Some others do that by mistake, the first goal was usually to send a private message.

• Remove some messages by ourselves could be a good idea too, it happens that we talk about a subject that we shouldn't, for example a running OP. Kings could also remove some messages in the chat for same reasons or also for respect reasons between members, it is not a problem on Discord, the owner can remove any message from his member but it never happen, at least as far as I know.

• A lot of players wouldn't appreciate the game as much if Discord wasn't here, I'm part of them. I think there is something to do with this fact. I would think about be able to link it to our own Discord, I don't know how to do tho, maybe create a Discord bot that we could add to see notifications about the SS chat, please think about that because the community feel it very important.
The current chat is very bad actually, like for example for def reports, it could be great to be able to hide the def, then a clickable button and we can see the off we successfully killed. Until now we are forced to put a link to a screenshot, which is not logical.

In sum, the most important part in this team game is the communication, the clearer, the better. It has to be efficient. I played in a kingdom recently where there was a thread for every subject, I cannot explain the mess and the work that I had to clear it up and come back into a clear chat... This features would have been awesome.

I think the chat has not evolved since it was created and it's barely better than what we had in version 2 ... 15 years ago

Hello! thank you for this great wish i have some dev feedback on it: We know that the messaging system can be confusing and some options, like deleting threads, are missing. We have it on our board, but not time frame yet.
