Pilgerfuchs kicke We don't just do the talk, we also do the walk, as I mentioned here:
Some of you linked to websites that offer help against them. I know it’s well-meant, and we appreciate your openness to help, but these services don’t support anything our developers already do.
Everyone is working non-stop to counteract these attacks. As mentioned above in the statement, there is no premade fix against DDoS attacks. Especially when the attackers change tactics after our countermeasures are in place. And that's why DDoS attacks are so frustrating: There is always a race of resources included in defending against them and who is adding more hardware faster. Don't get me wrong, this is not the only thing we do. I won't go into details, because it will only help the wrong crowd. Plus, the attackers are switching targets. Remember the first attack when even the forum was down shortly after we published that first statement? At least, they have learned that we have more channels to communicate with our players and don't target the forum anymore.
Long story short: Yes, we do actions. But we don't share the details. That doesn't mean we don't care about our players. We do.
