[Resolved] DDoS Attacks June 8th and following

    Dear players,


    we are facing another DDoS attack since yesterday. We highly suspect that this is done by a professional party that earns money by selling game bots. We will continue to ban these bots, and these attacks demonstrate that we need to be even stricter with fighting bot usage.


    @all: If you know any websites that sell bots for Travian Kingdoms, please report them to us via Help Center. Please share in the ticket all the information you have, such as receipts or a screenshot of your bank account statement, if you purchased a bot. We are gathering all the information to forward to the Public Prosecution Service.


    Our developers are working on protecting our gameworlds against these attacks, but there is no premade fix against DDoS attacks. Some of you linked to websites that offer help against them. I know it’s well-meant, and we appreciate your openness to help, but these services don’t support anything our developers already do.


    We are sure that more attacks are coming. Therefore, please follow these two steps to get access to your gameworlds:

    • Don’t use the red “Go to lobby” button to log out of your gameworld (close the window instead).
    • Bookmark the direct link to your gameworlds, for example: bbash1.kingdoms.com, bbash2.kingdoms.com or com4.kingdoms.com.

    We will restore all starved troops as soon as this attack is over. We cannot, however, restore defeated troops from attacks. We also won’t give any compensation because we don’t want to encourage anyone to do these kinds of attacks in the hopes of getting compensation.

    Maybe relax a bit on it... since you are now also banning legit players, accuse them of using bot/script, but cant say what has been botted, what benefit it should have been there...


    i assume you banned me and my duals for sending 100scouts out in a few seconds, but dosent take into account the 15-30min it toke to set it up. nope, must have been a bot, boom, all troops deleted, and 10%pop reduction.


    im all in for harsh punishment, delete any account that use bot/script/ multi account etc etc. but be damn sure they are cheating before you bring in the hammer!

    Perfect solution for app users :D

    Your work on the topic is apreciated, but i still dont get the logic behind your desicion.

    How is it better to encourage people, to use DDoS attacks and use the opportunity to get some operation plans, chiefing or similar stuff going in its shadow. Then giving out compensations for things, that wouldnt even have happened, without the attack?
    Compensation is meant to repair damage, its nothing you gain.

    Support I am sorry to say it but you seems to can't handle anything and You are treating us like a meet who only need to pay... pay and pay.... You don't care about US and fun you destroyed !!!!!! You don't listen to Your customers... We are looking for legal action against Travian Kingdoms !!!!

I understand that you need a place to let go off your frustration and it's okay to do so here in the forum. What's not okay is attacking my team and accusing us of not caring for our players.     If you think you are banned unfairly, please share your points in an answer to the ticket you got. Our customer service team will check your case again. Please don't open a new ticket, because it would take longer and information might get lost.

    Thats the problem, you say that, but your actions dont show it.
    Right now you priority should be to help your dedicated players. Find ways to stop their frustration and the repeating unfair actions that occur against them, while the game is runing but only playable for a few.
    The attackers want to attack your game, and the honest players. I highly doubt they are interested in some cute compensations. This hole reasoning it complety missplaced atm. How cant you see that?

    What should those players do who lost troops because someone else could play and attack at the time?

    How nicely and kindly said. It really looks good when you said it but reality is completely different. You have problems OK we can understand that. But You never ever compensate anyone losses. You never admit to be wrong. We dont get any information even if they are mostly - well I dont trust You.

    From other side i am playing Travian for last 15 years and believe me i have seen it all. But this was is happening to bash2 right now and how you deal with it its so WRONG !

    People spending money, and time, often spending hours in game build troops, helping each other, knowing new people, getting friendship over the game. And this is why we all love it. But when you cant log in to game because of You fault, when people loosing their hard work (troops ) in unfair attacks, when others cant sent help in time... well thats ALL WRONG - You said you care PROOF IT ! Make take all people wants to play again... bring them armies back or pay for their time and money... You have many options available - NO instead Your are decided to NOT TAKE ANY RESPOSOBILITY for game play and your customer LOSE !!!!


    AND YOU LIE ALL THE TIME YOU ARE... this is so disappointing

    The Kingdom of Alco% PL is currently voting on the deletion on bbash2 and then making a chargeback on our money that we used here. We will not allow such treatment. As I come back from work, she provides reports where the Russians could play normally and destroy offs in our villages, and we could not join the game.
