[Resolved] DDoS Attacks June 8th and following

    This is going to be ridiculous game is not working most of the time... support is not doing anything at all and now you cant by gold.... You can spend money but no coins is applied and best support can do is blame DDOS.... i am out of here... !


    As you may know, we have a saying in germany. "As it echoes into the forest, it echos out again."
    Sure the attacks are not travians fault, at least not in the present.
    And of course there always will be people who arent satisfied with anything and like to complain, and other people who try to show understanding for everything, no matter if its apropriate or not.

    But in the end, there is no denying that people have suffered loses in the game, only because it stayed online with all its issues and other people exploiting it. And that those people feel completly ignored at the moment. Nobody promised any later solution for them. They didnt even get a proper apology.
    All they are told is "It happened, we cant do anything against that, deal with it" in nicer words.
    and that is just bad community policy and communication.

    It doesnt matter if the world gets rerolled, or some compensation ist given. Important here is to do SOMEthing so they dont feel abused. Because at the moment only the attackers are profiting from their policy.
    And still, i dont feel the compensation argument makes sense.
    Compensation is for repairing damage. There is no point in dealing damage, potentially to the own account and kingom, only to get the damage repaired.
    Thats much more unlikely, then those ddos attackers beeing happy about angry trav players.

    Oh, I'd like to sign off on this one.
