• Support villages are for resources and culture points.

    Mine look something like this:

    Main: 10

    Academy: 10

    Townhall: 10

    Market: 20

    Embassy: 10

Silo and Warehouse however high I need

Stables: 0 or 10 depends if I need Trade Office

Trade Office: 0-15 depending on distance from other villages

All fields and resource buildings max level

My build order is always fields and resource buildings first. Then townhall, then market, then embassy to 10, then trade office

  • Barracks, stable and smithy all 20 in a support village ? But what are you calling a "support village" exactely ?

Rally point and Academy up to make chiefs if you plan to make them but otherwise it's not needed.

A support village is usually used to send resources to the off(s) village(s) and dev the new villages easier/quicker, so you will need to produce and send your resources, that's it.

    • Fields 10 of course

    • Market 20 and trade office (requirements for it)

And some stuffs of course like residence and resources bonus, obviously.

Tournament square is indeed useful only where you need to make your troops travel faster :
    • Def villages (10 is already good)

    • Offs villages (20 make the calculation too easy, advice to build it less high)

    • Raid villages (20 is a must IMO)

  • Then it is not a support village.

Support is pure resources and CP.

Embassy 20 is only for capital village. It is too expensive for anything else.

  • Pure support villages are mostly/only useful for offensive players, because defensive players should be ready to train def-troops from every village.
And for support villages only thing that we care, is their resource and CP production, and marketplace.

Therefore in addition to resource/crop fields and their buildings to max, we want a high-level Town Hall, to allow keeping faster back to back celebrations for CP generation. If not enough resource for large celebrations, then also need to get the base-CP production to at least ~400 daily-CP. With large celebrations, village's base-CP doesn't really matter.

I will use "support villages" as a defensive player to boost other village's smithy and barracks/stables to be able to produce higher level troops at a quicker rate

But yeah - not to the same extent that an offensive player would use them. Depends on the server and the reliability of other defensive players in the kingdom (and aggressiveness of attacking kingdoms)
