Friendly farming keeps getting worse

  • Farming 'friendly' accounts has ruined the past amount of rounds and will continue to get worse very single server if it keeps being allowed.


    Nothing more shamefull to have a boosted hammer, hit something/somebody with it and brag. it is even worse it is allowed by game mechanics and CSR.

  • 2) Friendly Farming : The dumbest legal thing in the game. You can loot a friend (99% of your multi account) forever without getting caught on the same IP. What is illegal in Travian Legends is legal in Travian Kingdoms and everyone knows it's cheating. I hope the rules about this will change as soon as possible and it will become illegal. Topics that are popularly abused include:

    • To kick from the kingdom, plunder and take it back to the kingdom.
    • Establishing wing-kingdoms with the same or different names, placing your friends (multi accounts) there and plundering them.
    • Establish a kingdom, menhir your friend and loot all his resources

    My solutions for Friendly Farming :

    • First of all, the rules should change and friendly farming shouldn't be legal.
    • For a member who leaves a kingdom (except when he is kicked out and not reinstated), the rules for looting kingdom members for 24 hours must apply.
    • There should be a limit to plundering wing-kingdoms and kingdoms with diplomacy in between.
    • Statistics of kingdoms should also appear outside of the top 10. If a kingdom is looting -20m per day, it's obvious what's going on.

    It's a joke that they claim they can't do anything about this. Who plays Travian for fun just to build resource fields and have somebody else attack them? It's so obvious that these accounts are multis but they don't do anything about - usually (imo) because the accounts doing it are also gold spenders and they want that $$ and are too short sighted to realise that allowing this sort of behaviour is driving away other players (and even more gold)

    • There should be a limit to plundering wing-kingdoms and kingdoms with diplomacy in between.

    I really would love to read more ideas from different users on how you think we could address this.

    Please keep in mind that there are players that do use it in a proper way and not trying to abuse the system and we have to take them into consideration as well.

    Personally I would take this a step further. There should be also be a limit on the amount of resources one kingdom can plunder from any other kingdom without there being a public declaration of war between each other


    I would even make it automatic - once the threshold for plundered resources has been reached the kingdoms automatically declare war on each other. Which can only then be stopped by the two kings agreeing to a ceasefire where for a certain cooldown time (say 7 or 14 days) neither kingdom is allowed to attack each other.

    Kingdoms that have a NAP with eachother shouldn't be able to attack/raid eachother at all.

  • (I think) it should still be allowed - because strategies like attacking a friendly treasury to save the treasures is a valid strategy


    But doing so should also come with some sort of penalty - such as the "cease fire" idea where for a period after as well as not being able to attack again you also can't reinforce. So players can still attack a friendly but they won't be able to do it again for at least a week


    Or even something also like if you attack a friendly treasury you lose X amount of victory points depending on how many treasures you save - so you can save the treasures but you need to be confident you can hold onto them for long enough to regain the lost victory points.

    Having friends starting an account who don't actually play and where you farm millions and millions of resources to strike a kingdom later with a boosted hammer/rammer seems like it ticks both last points, right?

  • The only reasonable solution is to continue the fight again multiaccounts and multi farming. All other hard, mechanical limitations would cause even more disagreements.

    Friendly farming would have to get a solid definition, written somewhere in the game rules. Is being a farm or low activity player punishable?

    How would you want to punish low activity players(farms)?
    No friendly attacks would also make treasures hidding and inside kingdom ress transfers using troops impossible. It could also make it impossible to catapult villages settled inside kingdom territory that are either hostile, or settled in the wrong place.


    The lack of ability to farm freshly kicked players doesn't forbid everyone else on the server to farm them anytime they want, why would it limit only a certain group of people? The NAP is the same thing. Alliance(confederation) prevents from conquering a village.


    Perhaps a mechanism that would make it impossible to invite, kick and invite again various accounts anytime you want would help with the situation? It won't limit the multi farming from the accounts outside of the kingdom, but it could help with the kick, farm, invite again multi strategy a lot. Maybe a cooldown saying that you can't join again to the same kingdom you got kicked from for maybe 24hrs?


    The goal here is not to limit every player on the map with more limitations, but to ban multiaccounts. Some people suggest that implementing some of the old rules from the older Travian or Travian Legends could help to solve the situation, but this is Travian Kingdoms and it often plays very differently.
    Some Kingdoms have a dedicated scouter or WW builder, attacker who always goes first and dies. Is that playing for the greater benefit of the account or the entire kingdom?
