    I actually think it's great if you explain how it's done and give ideas on how to fix it, it's actually super helpful and we are actually grateful for it.

    Unfortunately, if a post is accusing particularly someone or a group its against is the forum rules and we have to delete those postss.


    I belive the thread is constructive but we have to watch it follow the forum rules too

    The tickets KryTon refer to are from 2 years ago and he already wrote multiple times in tickets how to detect bot send attacks/raids. So that we are still discussing it again shows there either is no interest in it or ppl simply dont care about it.


    I can also talk about other current abuses that were being send tickets about years ago, but thats for another time...

    I think what th0mm and others is trying to do is show there is still a problem

    and when the correct channels are getting you know where, you come to the forums.


    Sometimes the issues and the forum clash based on rules created for the forum use.


    Travian began something a few months ago about catching and banning more then in the past.

    I can say I have seen an uptick in bans in the servers I have played since they unfolded their ban hammers.


    The question now that Travian and its players are at head with is how many chances does a cheater get before they are permanently removed from server and/or having their entire lobby account deleted.


    Forum rules state no name or direct accusations (doesnt matter year th0mm ;) )


    The players would also like to see more being done in regards to the cheaters chances.

    The punishment of course is between Travian and the guilty one but having a set of guidelines that we the players can see would at least show everyone is on the same path.

    In fact i have never played this game, i only come here to reuse the same images and sentences every single time i see opportunity.

    thank you for the clarification, i do believe you all have very valid points, and its important to know this is an ongoing problem so we can try to find solutions together.

    yes, HQ is aware of the problems and it's certainly trying to find a way to solve the issues and taking steps towards permanently solving this so we can all play in fare gameworlds.


    I absolutely understand and 100% share the views on wanting and needing fair gameworlds where every cheater gets punished and certainly appreciate the feedback and the insights on these issues.

    i think one of the main problems is that people that can change rules think that complete ban and not second chance for that server is too harsh

    but if someone had done something in a server then there shouldnt be a second chance for that specific server

    now another server and he can try to play clean, if he played clean then this is amazing if not, again perma ban for that server

    and if in 3 servers it happened then full lobby account ban (not that its really important) as cheaters can make new accounts but when u find someone that cheats, giving that person another chance to play in that specific server is not right in my opinion, he should not only punish by missing that server and also have to w8 for next server, now we go for the person that make another account and register incase its early game, to play that server, if they IP or anything that is trackable to see its the same person, then again that server should be banned

    if someone play in a family and cheat and get ban, if its real and they are family, for second time probably none of the family members let that person do the cheating again as they wanna enjoy the game,

    sometimes it needs to be more punishment for the game to save the game! (u can always reduce the punishments later but to fix the situation going fully harsh for punishments would be nice to try and see if it fix the problem)

    same time with the ticket and all names that have been in that specific ticket kryton made years ago and ways to find them
    as he said even here, with that specific ways atleast cheaters cant use bot that easily and ofcourse captcha and etc. that are in that ticket can help a lot if its being done, i dont know if he still have time, but he even said he can help too with all the background he added in the ticket

    i really hope that finally travian team HQ decide to increase the punishment and dont go soft on them!

    i tried to not mention any name or ways for doing anything so i hope the post stays here :D

    You keep telling us, there are people who are actively going after bots. But even when we have chats of them admiting they are botting and we report them they wont get banned. and if we post those screens on the forums we get banned. How is that fair? And why arent we allowed to talk about people who have been cheating? that rule only make Travian less transparent. If a kingdom is proven to be botting and or multing (like 150 accounts banned) why arent we allowed to talk about them? So people know what they might be up agianst. I mean you keep telling us travian cares about there players they have a funny way of showing it. Why take the time of telling us you/travian cares when we all know they dont and they only care about the money. And mute or ban the ones who try to make the game playable.

    Hi! we, the forum crew, have no access to the server control panel, only CSR does, so we can't verify any information. The bans are currently handled by them and they are the only ones that can make a difference and be able to ban players that are cheating.

    Since we can't know anything about those bans or possible infractions we can't decide who is wrong and who is right, therefore here is not the place to accuse someone of cheating. If it's about the system, to let us know something is not working the way it should or there are ways to improve it, like constructive criticism, it's always really welcomed since it's the way we can see something is not right and correct it.

    Would there be any possible way that Travian could post generalized numbers about bans and such?

    Say info for past year 2022 could be like total number of....


    Warnings - To me this means anyone banned ingame but is able to keep playing by accepting a punishment handed out ingame

    Banned from server(s) - The account and all villages are removed and not allowed to go grey

    Bans for certain amount of time from all servers & lobby

    Lobby account deletion


    I am not saying that we should be given names and addresses. I am talking like a generalized number.

    Much like companies have signs that say "so many days without an accident".

    They give a general number but not names of those who were clumsy 8o


    I am also aware that is not good advertising or a good vibe about a company having a count of all the bad people it has but games like Kingdoms or Legends has a following. We are asking for those numbers so seeing them somewhere will not chase us away. You could even add them to a players lobby instead of a public place. It will make us happy to see those who cant play a simple browser game without cheating, GONE


    You know who you are out there . You thump your chest on the forums and Discord telling everyone of your skills. :D

    If you had skills you would not need to cheat. Try it once so we can see your skills. :|

    Sure we are not allowed to discuss the following according to the forum rules (You promised to update those right?):

    • Ingame bans are not to be discussed in the forum. Support is to be contacted for that. Threads which discuss such matters will be deleted.

    So we are allowed to point fingers towards whole kingdoms filled with abusers without speaking out specific names? 😊
