King Abdication and automatic king allocation.

    I started the game as governor, I was having fun looting robbers and collecting treasures. Then I got invite from nearby king to become his duke. As a duke I can also collect treasures and loot robbers. Then when I was sleeping he left the kingdom. And I became the king automatically without confirmation from me. How is this fair ?? I don't have activated treasury and I cannot leave the kingdom. That means I cannot collect tributes from anyone and also cannot loot robbers. My game is stuck for entire early game. I did not wanted to cross 200 pop before finding new village but now I cant leave the kingdom before exiting the beginners protection and wasting more time doing nothing just upgrading buildings on the account.
    There are no robbers and no players in kingdom because treasury activation takes 12 hours. I have no option but to delete my account. How bad can this be ??

    Hey there SHIVAM . If a King abdicates, the 'oldest Duke" automatically becomes King.

    That is just the feature of the game. With the new rules in place, it is not possible to abdicate until you are out of Beginners Protection.


    I am a bit confused on what you mean when you say this:

    A King is able to still collect tributes.

    A governor get's robber hideouts.

    A Duke get's 1/2 as many hideouts as a King, but gets to also collect tributes from governors/dukes in their influence.

    A King gets to collect tributes from governors in their influence and any Duke village that is inside the borders of their Kingdom (as long as borders are touching).


    It's unfortunate what happened here, as you were not planning to be a King. However, the way the game is structured is to allow for there to be "continuity" for a Kingdom if a King decides to abdicate.

    Because he has no govs in his area, since he didn't activate any treasury yet.

    I forgot I posted here.
    What I meant was, I did not have much governors(2 to be exact) and also did not have active treasury.
    When I became king automatically(without choice because of game rules) and I also cannot leave in beginners protection( again game rules).
    I should have given an activated treasury at least. Why is this feature not added in game?
    In early game it is very important to collect resources.
    I was stuck for over 12 hours to find people to come to my kingdom and also activate treasury.
    Which I think is a waste since I don't want to hold the position of king.
    So I had to find myself a new king, which I did, thanks to my neighbor who understood the issue.
    It took a day and half for me to reach 200 pop. I kicked other 2 guys so they don't end up like me
    "Without any tributes and without any robbers hideout".
    I then abdicated alliance and joined these guys.
    It was trouble for me, I am still a little behind others, but I think I will catch up in few days.
