# Robber Camp - Conflict within the Kingdom !! ....a possible solution

Marching

The Concept is called Marching and to solve the Robbers camp conflit within the Kingdom.

senario:- Kingdom X has 9 players (Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player A, Player B, Player C, Player D, Player E and Player F)

There are 3 Robbers Camp for the Kingdom RC1, RC2 and RC3.

Example:- Player 1 initiates Marching on RC1 5 mins is the preperation time. During this time other players can join in on Normal mode with Troops + Hero.

Player 1 with 5000 Troops + Hero

Player 3 with 3500 Troops + Hero

Player B with 500 Troops + Hero

Player C with 2400 Troops + Hero(91 lvl)

Player F with 2400 Troops + Hero (79 lvl)

Conditions:- ( example )

1) No Player can know who sent how many Troops expect for the Lead ( Initiator )

2) Once sent and a player cancelled, cannot join again on the same March

3) The total March time is 20 mins(5+15). Where as the return time is as per the travel time of individual player

4) if the RC1 has 50 tr it gets divided based on the number of the troops and hero lvl is used as a tie breaker

if the tie is still there its a tie.

5) once the march lands then another player can start another one

6) same player can launch 2 March every 4 hours

7) min players in a march is 3 including the initiator.

if the min players is not met the March automatically gets cancelled at the last sec

9) Only Duke Vice King and King can be the initiators

If RC1 has 50 tr then its divided among the top 5 contributors for the March

for this example

Player 1 ( Top 1 )

Player 3 ( Top 2 )

Player C ( Top 3 )

Player F ( 4th )

Player B ( 5th )

• The solution is to allow the kingdom to set a limit on how many camps a player can attack. Without this option the first player to log in just attacks all the camps because its too profitable. Busy players get screwed over because they didn't log in 10 minutes after random camp spawned, just be online 24-7 bro. Another solution would be to make the camps benifit the entire kingdom, so that defensive players who don't attack can collect rewards. This way no one can be greedy because it will be shared anyway.

I feel bad for the kings who have to regulate this nonsense.

• The kings have enough to do already tbh.
I have suggested a long while ago to involve the hero to get treasures in the camps, to avoid players split their armies on too many camps.

I also like the idea of sharing the benefit of camps to all members, it can be a solution too.

• I think the best solution is to not complain so much about camps and assume that if I don't have one today, I'll have one next time (if I'm attentive and active).

There is nothing more boring than the rules for camps.

But that's just my opinion 😉

• I have played with rules and without rules in the camps and there have always been problems, personally I like them better without rules except one that is to attack and not in looting mode, but as always there are those who comply and those who do not

The main problem is that it is almost impossible to enforce rules if you want to have some.

The solution is to change the game mechanics, not to add rules.

Every leaders have tried to make rules for camps and it has always been a waste of time cause no effects on the gameplay.

• Force to involve the hero to get treasures would make the players think twice before target a camp, it would also avoid that they split their armies and by then give a chance to anyone online to get some.

• Make it a team event would be also fair enough, I didn't think about this idea until Tokmak said it but I feel it a good idea.

I get it, that's why I say that (at least in my opinion) rework of game mechanic is unnecessary, because main outline of the mechanic is fine.

From my experience most people who complain about camps try to set some rules within their kingdoms, but with current mechanic they are almost impossible to enforce. It is enough to give ability to have working rules (but without forcing everyone to have ones) to drastically reduce amount of complaints against camps.

Rework of main mechanic of camps i.e. one attack clears one wave and who is fastest to land has best waves is unnecessary (although raiding could be removed).

Other stuff concerning them would be nice.

• Yeah, but I'm answering to the post with idea to rework it into multiple players sending joint attacks, that's what I feel would be unnecessary change.
