    I understand about the cheating part but you cannot say that all those you suspect of cheating, are cheating.

    Just because you make a list means very little nor does it mean everyone on it is cheating. You most likely are correct on some you accuse but definitely not 100% on all.

    Of course i understand that, but sometimes there's enough proofs about the abuse of something that it's clearly no legal, like raids every 10 secs 24/7 for example, when we report we dont do it lightly we gather all the info we can, we know how to play and that an account can raid 24/7 and be very active but sometimes there something that just dont match. But that's no the point, at least we can agree that this type of practice has been going on for a long time and there has been no satisfactory response to it and it has continued to be abused by bots and multi-accounts.

    One thing to keep in mind is that this is a Ddos attack. There isnt a whole lot a a website can do to defend itself. This isnt a hack, its essentially a server overload. When AAA video games servers get shut down on release day because too many people try to play, thats essentually whats happening here but its intentionally trying to shut the game down.


    Now im not saying people shouldn't be upset about how its being handled, but this occurrence isnt TKs fault. Ive played travian for like 15 years and this is the first malicious attack like this ive seen. Yeah the game has lag issues, but rarely is the game entirely unplayable. But i think we all deserve a bit more then they are giving.

    Well, the problem is that it is TK fault. This is what happens when you let run rampart for years cheaters and bots.

    Now they have reached a point where they have a large botnet network that can initiate DDoS attacks with no problem and no repercussions, which brings us to the current problem. Also, my team and I sent out a lot of reports against players with multi-accounts and using bots only to be answered with the same old copypaste and no action taken. So even if the DDoS attacks are not in TK's control, they are responsible for letting it grow to this point.

    You mean something like a loyalty system that would reward players who are part of a kingdom and stay in it?

    Yes, something like that, we need the kingdom to be more impacfull for everyone, it's cool to be able to get extra ress from treasures, and see the incoming atacks, but that's it, alo something like:

    I have always wondered why there arent Kingdom quests....like:
    ~ "Build X amount of troops while in the kingdom"

    ~ "Have X amount of treasuries"

    This could work, Kingdoms objectives sounds very nice.

    I used to like the old "tax" sistem, where the king could set a % production for the villas inside the kingdom border. Also somethign like "Kingdom Objetives" like "Sell X amount of treasures this week, for the next week treasures sold give 5% more res" or "Raid X amount of ress to get a bonus againts robbers".

    Maybe a lankmark sistem, that could work kinda like a WW where the kingdom need to put ress and effort to to build a lankmark that buff the kingdom troops o ress production. The point is to have something that makes you want to be part of a kingdom apart of selling treasures.


    I'm also a fan of only allowing kings and dukes to be assigned at registration. It makes the decision heavier and also limits abuse. And means no menhir for kings and dukes, I think, which adds more strategy and diversity in locations of people throughout the game.

    For kings maybe, but for dukes it's kinda hard, it could work for pre-made teams, but that would kill the chance of new kingdoms to form.

    My main worry with that is if it makes bigger players too powerful once the extra talents or extra resources multiplier kicks in.


    Do you see any way of implementing it that doesn't make it too OP for some and it doesn't turn the balance of the game too much in one direction?

    Then dont give res multipliers, it's have QoL stuff like 1 extra merchant at lvl 110 or extra dmg againts robbers etc.

    This is something that it's done already, it just takes time, but you can manually set up a lot of scout atacks manually, having a tool to do it it would be to OP indeed and very hard to balance, the idea is nice but i think it would break the game in different levels.

    X5 server it's a lot better get rid of Wonders, i like the idea of kingdom with more treasures wins, but we all know there are a lot of ways to hide treasures, or protect treasuries, so.... maybe:

    1. Off points are added to the total VP at the end. Killing own troops, allys, robbers, oasis or from the same kingdom wont add to the Off points (this could be hard to implement, i'm not a programmer so idk)
    2. Deff points are subtracted from the total VP at the end. This is to prevent kingdoms to only turtle all the server, maybe they can hide and protect in a god-like manner, but if the stay only on the deffensive and hoard treasures all the server this will not guaranteed their victory, they will need to go on the offensive as well. Of course this needs more tought, since there's a lot of ways to make a kingdom get deff points by going and killing troops there.

    So TL:DR
    Kingdom with more VP Wins, VP are granted by treasures and kingdom total off points vs a negative mod that's kingom total deff points, this to make the server more war-like and less turtle till the end and win.

    El mayor problema que enfrenta la comunidad ES-PT del TK es el numero de jugadores, servidor tras servidor se ven los mismos reinos, las mismas rivalidades y se pelean las mismas batallas.
    Cambiaría la unión de reinos, desde que se anuncio opine que mataría el ritmo a los servidores pequeños permitiendo que un reino ocupe la mitad del mapa sin resistencia alguna y pueda ocupar 2 o mas maravillas, lo que lo hace el virtual ganador del servidor desde el mid-game.


    La falta de actividad en el foro creo que va relacionada con el punto anterior, ya no nos emociona subir reportes cuando sabemos que reinos están peleando los servidores, si se hace es tal vez en forma de burla con algún mensaje sin mucha profundidad. Un contraste a esto es cuando se abrió el servidor x3 al cual no toda la comunidad pudo participar por andar de lleno en otros servidores, (pero es es otro tema) sin embargo la actividad en los foros del x3 fue mayor que la de muchos ES pasados, trajo jugadores nuevos, algunos se quedaron otros no, pero le dio una chispa de vida a la comunidad en general.


    Sin duda hace falta mucha mas promoción al travian kingdoms en general, veo anuncios del TL por todos lados, incluso su pagina de facebook es mucho mas activa que la del TK, realmente siento que el problema es la falta de visibilidad ante la comunidad de los MMOBW y la falta de un juego con mas dinámicas que solo juntar y proteger tesoros durante 6 meses y salvar las offs para las maravillas.

    Y la idea de Knife de tener las notificaciones del foro en la embajada In-game es genial.
